Description
Aerospace Composites Engineer: The Aerospace Composites Engineer is responsible for developing new Aerospace Composites materials and manufacturing to the market and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Principal technical interface with our customers.
- Promote our technologies and Products to potential clientele.
- Materials and process selections for new applications
- Work with Carbon Fiber, Thermoplastics, Adhesives, Primers, and Surfacing Films.
- Support to major aerospace OEM and Subcontractors.
- Identify potential new applications in capturing new business, on our aerospace platforms.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree – relevant Engineering or Material Science discipline.
- Master’s or PhD degree is a plus
- Knowledge of aerospace composite part fabrication.
- Minimum 3-10 years demonstrated work experience in composites.
- Understanding of aerospace industry: suppliers, programs etc.
