Description
The Director of Satcom Engineering will be responsible for technical leadership of the SatCom engineering departments. Requires strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of SatCom engineering to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership of the SatCom Engineering Departments.
- Ensure various engineering projects comply with all governmental regulatory requirements.
- Develop product and process designs, cost estimates and technical specs.
- Allocate projects among engineering teams.
- Evaluate engineering designs for technical accuracy.
- Analysis of cost control and data to evaluate project performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Electrical, Mechanical, Communications Engineering Degree a plus
- 10+ years in Communications product design and SatCom engineering experience.
- 5+ years leading Engineering Teams, Satellite and Antenna related equipment.
- Experience with Antenna Phase Array Hardware a plus.
- Strong understanding of Satellite Networks and related equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Must be US Citizen.
